In the context of Corpo-real Discourse programme, the students of the master Interior Architecture Corp-real welcome Césare Peeren for this public event.
Césare Peeren is a passionate architect, entrepreneur and idealist with a mission to transform current human culture into a more inventive and sustainable culture. Twenty-two years ago, Césare began by observing that in nature the outputs of a system are not wasted, but rather the inputs for another system. The architectural graduation project of Césare contained many themes and concepts that are now called 'sustainable' and 'circular design'. Shortly thereafter, in 1997, he and Jan Jongert founded '2012 Architects' (now 'Superuse Studios'). An agency with the vision to further develop and realize those themes. Superuse Studios is now a recognized pioneer in waste architecture and circular design and remains a pioneering leader. Their many realized designs are unique and have become icons of waste design and passive architecture. They now work with fourteen often wasted or underutilized sources, including: materials, food, water, people, heat, sound, knowledge, money and culture.
