“Familiar strange shows how tiring it can be to always be on the move, whether by choice or not and how exhausting it was to have my apartment, my safe space, no longer feel like home. Whilst the space physically didn’t change, the feeling had shifted from a place of comfort to a source of anxiety. However, I noticed individual objects started carrying this feeling instead. Maybe they were always a source of comfort in- and outside my home(s). I believe that most people have an object that carries this if we take a moment to think about it, appreciate it. Through projection mapping, the moving 3D renders will get out of the screen and turn it into something tangible.”
