Workshop Take hold of your future

During the Train-the-Trainer workshop Grip on Your Future, you will be introduced to the ArtisticEntreComp model. This model outlines 15 entrepreneurial competencies, including surprising skills not typically associated with entrepreneurship. It helps third- and fourth-year students gain insight into their entrepreneurial abilities and how to leverage them as they launch their careers.

In the workshop, you will:

• Explore the 15 competencies and identify how they are already (implicitly) present in your program.
• Learn how to make these competencies explicit within your curriculum.
• Receive tools to independently deliver the Grip on Your Future workshop to your students.

After the workshop, you will understand the areas where students feel prepared for professional practice and what they still want to learn to graduate confidently. Additionally, you’ll gain insight into what students perceive they have learned at ArtEZ and what they wish they had been taught in their program. The entrepreneurial competencies students find valuable will be mapped out, making this workshop a powerful tool for enhancing the flexibility of your curriculum.

The Train-the-Trainer workshop Grip on Your Future will be held on the following dates in 2025:

• January 13 in Arnhem, 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Dutch)
• March 17 in Zwolle, 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM (English)
• May 21 in Enschede, 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Dutch)

The workshop is led by Jessica de Jaeger, a project advisor at ABC with extensive experience developing and delivering entrepreneurship education at ArtEZ. In her practice, she coaches and supports cultural entrepreneurs and education professionals.
