Work it, Make it, let me guide you after ArtEZ was made in partnership with former students and follows the chronology of the first year after graduation.
It contains encouraging stories about the wealth of opportunities available, finding a new rhythm, presenting yourself, charging money for your work, working for nothing, doubt, jumping in at the deep end and networking, to give just a few examples.
We can't tell you how to live your life as an artist. But you can read and find out how others have done it. That's why for this guide we decided not to ask lecturers or ‘experts', but only recent graduates who were struggling with the same problems you might be struggling with. Finding solutions, taking decisions that did or didn’t turn out well, looking for adventure and jumping in at the deep end.
