SPOTTED: Booster Festival Nominated for IJzeren Podiumdieren

Great news for Booster Festival: the showcase festival from Enschede has been nominated for the ‘Festival Programme of the Year’ award at the IJzeren Podiumdieren! Booster is up against Grauzone and Jera on Air. The festival’s programme is largely curated by students from the ArtEZ Academy of Music and provides a stage for up-and-coming musical talent from the East of the Netherlands.
IJzeren Podiumdieren
The IJzeren Podiumdieren are the annual industry awards presented by the Association of Dutch Music Venues and Festivals (VNPF). From this year onwards, the awards focus entirely on outstanding organisations and projects within the live music sector. VNPF members vote to decide the winners, who will be announced on 18 January 2025 during ESNS in Groningen.
Booster Festival takes place every April in Enschede’s city centre. With over 45 free showcases, workshops, and feedback sessions, it’s the perfect place for emerging artists to showcase their talent and develop their skills. Venues like Metropool and Theater Concordia host performances from the most promising musical acts in the East of the Netherlands!
