Spotted: Academy of Pop Music student Maud secures a spot in singer Bente's opening act thanks to TikTok challenge

Last July, singer Bente made a call on TikTok: "Who wants to perform as the opening act for my upcoming tour?" ArtEZ Academy of Pop Music student Maud Weijtens immediately seized the opportunity. "I just had to perform with my band in that opening slot," she says determinedly.
A Dream Come True
What began as a dream soon became a reality. Bente chooses Maud to be the opening act for a show at the pop venue Annabel in Rotterdam on 24 October. In an article on TwenteFM, Maud tells how she made her application video, which was quite a challenge as she was on holiday in Norway without her band members.
