SUPERTRAMP (12+) Theatre Performance

The theatre production SUPERTRAMP (12+) is a collaboration between Theater Sonnevanck and Theater Oostpool, directed by Mart van Berckel, with the script by Lisanne van Aert.

From the Jury Report:

"We don't often see something as impressive as Supertramp. Actor Rabbi Jallo and drummer Yonga Sun form a perfect duo: Jallo's rhythmic delivery and Sun's perfectly complementary accompaniment combine to create one mesmerizing performance. Lisanne van Aert's musical, empathetic script advocates for providing space for those who cannot keep up with the daily rat race. Supertramp immerses you in the emotional crisis of the young characters in an unparalleled way, making it one of the most moving and vital performances of the year."

The Awards

The Krekels, the VSCD Youth Theatre Awards for the most impressive youth theatre production and performance, have been awarded annually since 2005. From the 2023-2024 theatre season's youth offerings, the Youth Theatre Jury selected the Zilveren Krekels, which serve as nominations for the Gouden Krekels.
