SPOTTED: Droom Dit at position 1 on the 3voor12 Top 25 at Eurosonic Noorderslag 2024.

Earlier, we reported that there was a record number of acts from the ArtEZ Academy of Music at Eurosonic Noorderslag 2024. We can now add some fantastic news to that because Droom Dit, comprised of band members studying at ArtEZ Academy of Music in Enschede, has secured the first position among the top 25 acts during ESNS according to 3voor12/3fm!

"For several years now, we have been focusing on the ArtEZ triple play: ArtEZ, Booster Festival, and Eurosonic/Noorderslag. Through this, we provide our students with a relevant launching platform into the music industry. For instance, Droom Dit, just last year, debuted at our own ArtEZ showcase at the Drie Gezusters, earning them a spot at the Booster Festival. Via Booster, they reached Popronde, resulting in a deal with booking agency Friendly Fire and a slot at Noorderslag.This year, we had more bands at ESNS than ever before, and several bands have already made significant strides. What made me particularly happy was the immense mutual support among the students, proudly watching each other and distributing each other's flyers. Primaat

Another highly praised act composed of students from both ArtEZ Academy of Music in Zwolle and ArtEZ Academy of Music in Enschede is the hip-hop formation Primaat. With their versatile yet not chaotic performance, they turned the Binnenzaal of the Oosterpoort upside down. 'Just when you think you know what to expect - a hip-hop act with a strong live band including brass instruments - it suddenly becomes a completely different band.' - 3voor12"
