Mascha Halberstad winner of Culture Prize Arnhem

A big congratulations to ArtEZ alumnus Mascha Halberstad, who has won the Culture Prize Arnhem with her animated film Knor!
Mascha Halberstad received a cheque for five thousand euros. She was praised by the jury for her contribution to putting Arnhem on the map internationally with her work; Mascha Halberstad's recent film Knor (2022) was awarded three Golden Calfs. The other nominees were ArtEZ alumnus Arash Fakhim and Collectief KOPPiG.
The presentation of Arnhem Culture Prize in Luxor Live was presented by Francis Broekhuijsen and framed by performances by KIMONO, Vincenzo Turiano (Introdans) and Vincent Bijlo.
Uitnacht Arnhem
The Cultuurprijs Arnhem was traditionally awarded during Uitnacht Arnhem, where many ArtEZ students and alumni performed and presented their work.
