Professor Nishant Shah leaving ArtEZ

As of December 2022 Nishant Shah, professor of Professorship in Aesthetics and Cultures of Technology, will leave ArtEZ. He has decided, both personally and professionally, to leave Europe to find an intellectual home, to be closer to the communities he works with for his research. Initially, he will travel to India in December to further orientate himself from there.
In the six years that Nishant worked, in various roles, at ArtEZ, he contributed to the further development and positioning of research within ArtEZ, the educational vision; in addition to community building within the Graduate School and actively stimulation discussions and actions on inclusion, diversity and equality. He has made a significant difference within ArtEZ and in representing ArtEZ both in the Netherlands and abroad. We are very grateful to Nishant and we hope that with this big decision he can find the intellectual home he is looking for.
