SPOTTED: Fine Art alumnus Roman Knol winner HeArtfund Prize 2021

Fine Art Painting alumnus Roman Knol has been chosen as HeArtFunder 2021-2022. The HeArtpool Foundation is the initiator of the prize and annually supports a painter who has graduated from ArtEZ AKI Academy of Art & Design in the transition from the academy to independent artistry.
The HeArtFund committee visited the exhibition of the finals student and judged Roman's work as very diverse. The members unanimously agreed that Roman was the best choice out of 7 painters.
As the winner, he will have his own workspace available in the Heemaf factory for a year, with an exhibition at the end of the work period. There will also be a publication of Roman's work in book form and there will be the opportunity for advice and guidance at the start of the artistry.
Previous winners of the HeArtfund Prize included Thijs Segers, Liesbeth Piena and Nancy de Graaf.
