11 top programmes for ArtEZ in HBO Keuzegids 2017

11 of ArtEZ's 18 Bachelor's programmes (16 courses) have received the title ‘top programme’ according to HBO Bachelor 2017.

Four programmes came first place in the ranking and are now registered as the best course choice in the Netherlands. The programmes are: Music Therapy in Enschede; Autonomous visual art in Arnhem (Base for Experiment, Art and Research); Theatre in Arnhem; Design in Enschede (Cross Media Design, Moving Image).

Keuzegids Hoger Onderwijs
The annually published Keuzegids Hoger Onderwijs (Catalogue of Higher Education) helps students choose their courses. The editorial staff present an overview of the strengths and weaknesses of programmes based on student evaluations, education statistics and visit reports from education inspection authority NVAO (Netherlands-Flemish Accreditation Organisation). Student evaluations originate from the National Student Survey (NSE). This is carried out by research firm Intomart GfK, on behalf of the Studiekeuze123 foundation. In the NSE, students evaluate all kinds of aspects of their programme, from the syllabus and lecturers to the timetables and facilities.
