Who are you as a performer/artist?
As a performer, I am a storyteller. With sensitivity, a wide range of expressions, persistence, passion, and care.
As an artist, I am a human being. With curiosity, analytical thinking, compassion, and love. Toward, within, and despite.

What are your ambitions?
My plan is to gain the freedom to dance/work internationally. I’m on my way to meet and build bridges between artists, countries, institutions, audiences. Step by step, my ambition (as hopefully for many others) is to create a more welcoming, trustworthy, rich, interconnected environment. Or just dance and be happy…

Where do you find inspiration?
I find inspiration in the work itself. I love movement in every way one can engage with it: do it, watch it, analyse it, repeat it, perform it, mark it, share it, teach it, notice it, etc. I’m just deeply in love.
People inspire me as well. I love to hear stories, observe interactions, see creations by, and feel the resonance within me. This world as a whole is simply fascinating.
You got it, right? There is a lot of love. And love is inspiring.

What did you do at your internship & what did you learn?

I had the great pleasure of having a year-long internship with Skånes Dansteater. I’ve performed in 4 different productions and took part in 1 dance film, each one of which was a unique experience and artistic challenge in one way or another. I’ve taught workshops for people with diverse needs. I’ve fully participated in the company’s life. I truly became a member of the community.
It’s hard to grasp all the things that I have learnt this season. From personal, to professional, to cultural, and legal. People surrounding me showed me what I’m capable of, what I should strive for, and what I should demand from myself and others. Through the care and support that I experienced, I learned how to trust myself, my knowledge, and my artistry. And already solely for that, I can’t express enough how grateful I am to the whole team of Skånes Dansteater and my mentors Dor Mamalia and Reut Aviran.
Generally speaking, this year shaped me to be a professional who is ready to step out after years in the educational systems.
