YEAN

Yaen reimagines footwear through the lens of architecture. Divided into two lines—Lamina and Stratum—the collection explores structure, layering, and transformation. With sculptural forms and modular elements, it invites wearers to engage with their shoes as adaptable, architectural objects.

In 2025, Yasemin Abouelnasr graduated with a degree in Product Design from ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem. She specialises in footwear and accessories, with a strong foundation in shoemaking techniques, construction methods, and material exploration. Her approach blends traditional craftsmanship with experimental design, aiming to redefine footwear as objects that go beyond function — communicating emotion, movement, and identity through form, structure, and detail.
