Marcel Tannous explores the experience of consciousness through the negotiation between power and body.
Through a multimedia approach and different dimensional expressions, the works exist in a space of liminality in which ambiguity and unity are challenged.
Drawing from embodied experiences, Marcel’s work strives to transcend binary opposition. This is done by the usage of vivid figurative symbolism. For example, androgyny, anthropomorphism and regenerative cycles found in nature.
