Who are you as a performer/artist?
My movements are always connected with what and how I’m feeling at that certain moment or what I’m portraying. Staying authentic and settling in these emotions are what’s giving me a personality in movement.

What are your ambitions?
This past year has been especially important for me to figure out what path I wanted to follow due to unpleasant circumstances. While it was quite clear at the beginning of my study, I was very tormented with what I could do at the end of my study. So in order to overcome this struggle, I wanted to get a taste of different things to get a better view of what I wanted to do. Trying new things of which I had no knowledge about as well as broadening my skills in the workfield was my ambition for this year and well, this worked perfectly. I found a new skill and passion besides dance and this will be the focus after my studies.

Where do you find inspiration?
My main source of inspiration comes from the people around me. As I have quite a busy mind, since I’m always taking in what people are saying, it’s sometimes hard to organize. However, it does inspire me for a lot of things.

What did you do at your internship & what did you learn?
I am currently doing an internship at Korzo in the production team. It’s such a fun and amazing learning environment, that I feel very lucky to say I’m interning here. From organizing, planning, communicating to booking, networking, finding solutions etc. So much is going on behind every production. Here I've also had the opportunity to take on different tasks and get a taste of multiple professions within a theater. This diversity has helped me to discover and develop my skills and interests. And the people are GREAT!!!!

Favourite quote
I don’t really have a favorite quote but I love Kungfu Panda:

Quit, don’t quit. Noodles, don’t noodles… you are too concerned with what was and what will be. There’s a saying: yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present!
