Who are you as a performer/artist?

As a dance artist I love to work with intensions behind movements while working on a piece. I enjoy to keep on researching and developing the movement vocabulary of a work. Next to that, it is important to me to be able to share my voice and creativity inside a workspace. Learning from and with each other is very valuable. Furthermore, the universe that can be created within a performance is very dear to me. Since I was very young I have been in love with performing.

What are your ambitions?

I love to enjoy the moment and not project too far ahead in the future. My ambition is to stay true to what I enjoy to do and follow where this will take me. At the moment this has been dance for many years, and I can see myself moving for many more. I am looking forward to grow and flourish in different places and seeing more of the world. Next season, I will be dancing with Carte Blanche in Norway.

Where do you find inspiration?

Inspiration is to be found anywhere for me. It can be a conversation, image, emotion, nature, movie, song or many other things. In general, I am moved by life.

What did you do at your internship & what did you learn?

For my internship year I moved to Stockholm, to be dancing with Cullberg for a year. This has been a learning experience for me in many ways. My favorite change of perspective has been particularly within performance experience. I really value the way I learned about approaching performance as sharing your practice on stage. This really changed my perspective and way of working in as well the studio, as on stage. It allows me to stay true to and dig deeper into the actual work of the material, which I think is super important.
