Is ignorance bliss? We are overwhelmed by news, feeds and all around disaster. The bio industry, heat waves, sandstorms, drowning, or seeing all your stuff drown, dying from pesticides or the nuclear threat are just a few examples.

How can you escape these facts and continue to live your life in peace without falling into ignorance.

This elevator represents an in-between space that questions the roles and responsibilities when dealing with all of this. We seem ‘lucky’ to be able to choose what bales we want to fight, and are faced with constant contradictions.

The video loops you see in this elevator show how the main character (the artist) is stuck in between all the mess that is going on in the world while baling to keep her own privileges, but still trying to engage. With a naive outlook on the world, that resulted in dreamy and light hearted videos with a message: ignorance is a non existing bliss.
