SHIFT: Exploring Relationships between Artists and Technology in Education explores the interplay between technology and education within the arts. It exposes the often unnoticed structures of domination that influence our interaction with the digital and educational environment. This book challenges the assumed neutrality of technology and calls for a radical reconsideration of our relationships with and choices of the tools we use to create and learn.

[SHIFT] is a call to action and encourages artists, educators and technologists to forge paths toward a more inclusive and equitable future. By engaging with the arts as a dynamic framework, this book offers innovative strategies for dismantling oppression and reimagining how we live and learn in a technology-driven world. Ultimately, the reader is brought on a transformative journey to discover how we might coexist with technology and each other in a world free from traditional constraints.

[SHIFT] contains contributions from Ryan van der Elst, Eloisa Germano, Philomeen de Gier, Steef Kersbergen, Féilim O'hAoláin, Juultje Schmidthamer, Yentl Staller, Joëlle Vaartjes and an interview with Nishant Shah.
