With a bit of distance, calming down and moving to another place, everything just made sense and became tidied up.

"The Masters programme was a sort training for me, being a dance artist and choreographer. I could learn how to start, continue and end a research. How to gather information, how to write a summary and how to take a result out of it. I was trained theoretically, but also in practice with different groups of people. After every project I had a lot of important material to reflect on, and a lot of support from the teachers and the other students to process it all. Since I obtained my master degree, I begin every project with a short research to get a critical view and an idea of what exactly I want to do and which rol I have to take during the proces."

"Personally I went through a journey with different emotions and thoughts during the master program. It was a mix of totally questioning everything. From starting with myself (why am I doing art, dance?) till crying on stage because I found myself in a deep emotional status (part of a research project). At the end of the program I was kind of confused about my work and the meaning of all my projects during the Masters. But with a bit of distance, calming down and moving to another place, everything just made sense and became tidied up. This feeling was kind of perfect, and I still carry it with me."
