Martin Kaptein

Martin already has a distinguished record, promising great things to come. He won awards at various piano competitions for young pianists in neighbouring countries such as Germany, Belgium, France and Portugal. On 27 November, he played in the finals of the "Vught Klassiek" at the Huize Bergen estate in Vught. In front of an almost full house, three keyboard stars vied for the many prizes on offer. Huize Bergen estate organises Vught Klassiek to offer up-and-coming talents a stage on which to gain concert experience. For Vught Klassiek, young musicians were selected from the Netherlands and abroad. Each of them is bound to become one of tomorrow's top musicians! Concerts are held every last Sunday of the month. The audience is asked to vote and rank the musicians for possible participation in the annual finals held at the end of November. Every concert is hosted by a young presenter, who interviews the musicians to get to know the people behind the music.
