Digital Workshop Arnhem

The digital workshop has CNC milling machines and laser cutters. Suitable materials for laser cutting include plywood up to 6 mm thick, plastics, fabrics, leather, paper and cardboard. You can’t cut PVC and MDF here due to toxic fumes. Commonly used materials for the CNC milling machine are MDF and plywood. Material is available in the store at OK26.

In the Digital Workshop, work is done by appointment. Always bring the original file (for example the Illustrator file) and a DXF file with you. Please provide suitable equipment when you start during your appointment and remain close to the machine while milling or lasering.

Bram Otten is the instructor from ArtEZ Academy of Architecture on Friday and Saturday. Students from all disciplines are welcome on these days, but Architecture students are given priority.
