Do you want to be a driving force behind change through your work? If so, apply for the selection. Although it might be thrilling, auditioning is mostly a fun and instructive process.
Admission requirements for Artisteducator in Theatre & Media
- Pre-university education (VWO), senior general secondary education (HAVO), secondary vocational education (MBO: level 4) or foreign equivalent level of education. You can be submitted with an international diploma, provided that the diploma is equivalent to a Dutch diploma. The Student Administration evaluates this before you are admissible;
- This course is subject to Language requirements;
- You must successfully complete a selection procedure.
Application
After creating a Studielink account, you can apply there for the selection procedure for the Artisteducator in Theatre & Media course in Zwolle. You will then receive a confirmation from the course by email and, at a later date, an invitation with information about the programme, time and assignments.
Selection procedure
We hold a physical and online round twice a year, for those who pass round 1 there is a 2nd physical round. In selecting you, we pay attention to factors such as an independent work attitude, involvement in current affairs, an inquisitive attitude, environmental awareness and interest in others. We also assess your ability to visualize and reflect on ideas.
The selection committee will advise the Exam Board whether or not you should be admitted.

When applying in Studielink, you can specify which selection round you want to put yourself down for. It is advisable to apply before the registration date, so that you have time to prepare for the selection assignment.
Result and validity
After the selection you will be notified within five working days whether you have been admitted. During the selection process, we will provide you with feedback to give you insight into our assessment of your suitability for the course.The admission only applies to the Artisteducator in Theatre & Media course in Zwolle and to the academic year immediately following the selection round.
