Charlotte Köhler Scholarship

Awarded annually, the Charlotte Köhler Scholarship is an incentive grant of €5,000 for talented novice Dutch-speaking authors or translators of prose, poetry, children's literature, theatre or other work that is considered to be part of the literature. This year's jury consisted of Steffie Van Neste, Mischa Andriessen and Kila van der Starre. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, titles from the author or translator must also have been published in the last five years. The festive award ceremony will be held on Friday 18 October 2019 from 15:45 to 18:00 in the Marionetten Theatre in Amsterdam. The jury report, which will be available from then on, will also be presented there. Everyone is welcome, but you need to register in advance.
