Opening performance: Gershwin Bonevacia
Gershwin Bonevacia is a poet, writer, musician and theatre maker. Former city poet of Amsterdam and recipient of the Gouden Ganzenveer 2026. He opens the day with a spoken word piece first performed for Omroep Zwart.
Opening: Maritska Witte and Michiel Braam
Maritska Witte is Director of Theatre and Dance and Michiel Braam is Director of the Conservatoire at ArtEZ Arnhem. They welcome guests and open the day.
Lecture: Nikita Krouwel
Culture worker, researcher and former producer at The Black Archives. Nikita takes you through Afro-Dutch history and anti-colonial resistance.

Theatre maker Kevin Klein exposes his family history: from a German ancestor who emigrated to Suriname to enslaved ancestors on his mother's side. A personal search for identity, origin and what we pass on to future generations.
