Swap Day 1
During the Swap Days you can take lessons from any teachers present that day as long as they are not your main subject teachers you have lessons with every week. To give some examples: As an instrumentalist you can take singing or composition lessons, as a composer you can take piano or singing lessons. You can visit a concert + Q&A, you can pick a lesson in your main subject from another main subject teacher, etc etc.
Some teachers decide the topic of the lesson in advance. The topics will be listed in the ArtEZ app at the moment you can begin choosing your lessons. If no topic is listed, students are responsible for determining the subject.
You might want to take a lesson in the instrument of another main subject. For some instruments this is no problem (voice, piano, percussion), but it is not possible and not desirable to take a lesson in another instrument if you don't own this instrument yourself and don't have any experience. If you, for example, want to learn the basics of the violin or drums, but have never played it before, it is better to ask a violin / drum student to teach you than to use a Swap Day lesson.
