We’re excited to announce a vibrant collaboration between ArtEZ Conservatorium Arnhem and the renowned Music Meeting Festival, taking place June 7–9, 2025, in the beautiful Park Brakkenstein, Nijmegen. On Monday, June 9, the festival will feature several exceptional ArtEZ artists, including Min Won and The Starpeople.

The Starpeople – 17:00
When flugelhorn player Elias Luijten and pianist Fee Aaij met, musical chemistry sparked instantly. They founded The Starpeople, a group that transforms their passionate artistic visions into raw, expressive space jazz. Their performance at Music Meeting features original compositions by Luijten, a McCoy Tyner cover, and a 27-minute semi-live audiovisual piece involving musicians, sound/video engineers, and even a fashion designer. Celebrate connection and individuality with The Starpeople – proudly from Gelderland.

Min Won – 18:10
Drummer, composer, and master student of pop/jazz at ArtEZ, Min Won explores the intersection of sound and movement in an improvisational duo with dancer Burja Podlesnik. Their boundary-pushing performance combines music and dance in an improvisational and playful journey. Min Won will also be performing with The Starpeople.
