The focus of the MonkeyJam is on groove and interplay, creating music that feels like a song, completely based on improvisation. Precisely because no one knows in advance what will happen, the most ecstatic moments can arise when there is musical communication and musicians connect. From hip-hop bangers with funky freestyles to experimental indie with eclectic climaxes, everything is possible based on improvisation.

MonkeyJam Arnhem is organized by Colored Monkeys in collaboration with Plank Arnhem, Jacobiberg, Café Bosch, ArtEZ Academy of Music and RYM (Arnhem). Colored Monkeys is a musical community that connects musicians with each other and organizes various performance spaces for musicians, from jam sessions to festival internships and various educational projects.

Almost every 4th Wednesday of the month in one of the nicest stages in the city. The MonkeyJam is highly recommended to musicians who want to expand their musical network.
