X, Y, Zoom

The vector, as understood in the field of graphic design, is a line that is used for creating graphics. The line, based on the Euclidian plane (X,Y) today forms the framework of most of the design programs. In its digital context, the vector can be scaled, rotated and bended endlessly, without losing its high quality. It is a digital material that lives only inside the screen, and is therefore quite abstract in comparison to materials in the physical world. By projecting the vector lines and manipulating them by handmade textured surfaces, the lines start scaling, bending and rotating again. They get a material context in physical space(Z), time, and in process.
