THE DANCING DOLLS 

 

An album with a series of videoclips that reflect on today’s pop-culture.

For this project, I started by researching today’s pop-culture. Throughout the process, I found a way of creating a visual language for myself by cutting into foam and bending it. I applied this material to a series of costumes made for four videoclips. The album reflects on the luxury digital times we live in in which you can order your groceries and amusement has become cheaper than food. I chose to distribute this project on the internet so that everybody can enjoy it anytime, anywhere.

I would say, dance with friends, party and pop, the dop of the bottle, until the sun comes op.

 

 

 

I love preforming, making clothes and videos, and building worlds and simulations. I bring different disciplines together in one work. Every medium has its own quality, no bag ever made me cry but a lot of movies have. For me, the work gains more value.
