Someone builds a house and, 50 years later, I live in it. The world has changed by then, as have the people, the size of the population, everything. I want to figure out ways in which ‘structures that seemingly exist forever’ change into nothing more than a frame holding a space that fits our times and needs. 

Depths in surface is a collection of interior surfaces that cover fixed architecture, like walls, ceilings, floors or window spaces, turning them into adaptable and functional elements. Together, they form the ‘interior skin’ that is independent of its body like a ceiling tile becoming a cupboard, moving between 2D and 3D, growing into a thing of its own.
