Handle with Care is a collection of ceramic wall ornaments with a decorative function that appeals more to the emotions than practicality, and with the intention of drawing the walls and ceilings into a space. This project arose from the importance that I attach to quality and from my belief in the valuable connection that we can have with our belongings. A strong aesthetic experience can ensure a long-lasting relationship and a durable lifespan because of how we deal with objects that we care about – we handle them with care. Translated to a more modern interpretation, this project is inspired by classing ceiling decoration from the past, such as ceiling rosettes.
