Aliet Moes
My graduation collection reflects me, and at the moment I feel the urge to work autobiographical. This exposes a clash within me as a person and designer, expressing contradictions without too much of exposing. I'm using religious elements in a punk way, and inspired by the filmography of Peter Greenaway the work contains the contrasts of life and death and it includes material and shapes with symbolic meaning. I've created looks which express total isolation and I'm throwing loud, colorfull and exploding silhouettes out there; everything I made for my graduation is drenched in my DNA, and therefore the urge of self expression. And the NEED to scream.
