Intertwined landscapes
Landscapes are transformed, in a myriad of ways, by the way humans interact with them. The starting point for this work was an exploration of how technology can be more tactile. Meiospore investigates the relationships and interconnections between humans, nature, and technology—taking the form of a sensorial installation where the visitor can become absorbed into, and (re-)connect with, a tactile moss landscape. Through the act of touching the moss with bare feet, the projected visual landscape changes in relation to the visitor’s interactions.
