GoZare Omr (passing of life)
Inspired by an old Persian poem, my graduation work is a system of elements that work together to illustrate the passing of time. Their goal is to affect the audience through these movements, evoking the realisation of the passing of life.
Whereas, in the poem mentioned, the poet used a natural element such as water as a metaphor, I use technology and mechanisms to ‘illustrate the passing’. In my case, technology acts as a catalyst to arrive at the conclusion that life goes by. This conclusion could be beneficial to us, especially considering our high-speed life that serves consumerism culture.
