Welcome in Happy Valley! You’re not dead. You are just here because this is the place where all beings come someday. Have you seen the seeds? Feel free to pick one if you want to experience a new life! when you take good care of it, one day the seed will become a beautiful flower! Just as the flowers in this garden. So, what do you choose? When you are finished and you have chosen your seed, you can follow the path through the light. The place where we will let go of our previous life and welcoming our new one.

In my graduation work I investigate what life looks like after death and the process of reancarnation. The work is inspired by people who once have experienced a near death experience. During these near death experiences I find it interesting what people see, experience and follow. I have translated these near death stories into a nature theme. The work is an installation, within this installation a flower garden and a fly-zapper, representing a place where we might feel home yet unknown. A place where we blindly follow our journey to the right seed, which will later be revealed as a new chapter in life.

Anna Hendrix passion lies in creating worlds and the curiosity of discovering the unknown. Whether these undiscovered places are on Earth or beyond. Triggering the inner child that lives within us all.
