Do you ever look around and feel like you don’t have anything to wear?

We in the Netherlands own around 173 pieces of clothing a person. Of which, only 50 pieces are being worn. This means on average 71% of the clothing we own is not being used.

Mom, can I look in your closet consists of a collection of attachable and detachable styling tools aimed for engagement, a way for the consumer to look at the stuff that is already out there and see the possibilities and potential in these existing designs.

A way of standing still and value the product for what it is and can be, a form of adaptability for personal expression and style of the individual. Creating new designs out of existing designs and a new way of usage for a product which beforehand was only usable in one way.

Creating the contemporary out of the temporary by reshaping the stuff around us.
