Josephine Seegers

Josephine Seegers begon als klein meisje al aan haar dansavontuur. Sindsdien is ze nooit meer gestopt met dansen en studeert ze bijna af aan de opleiding ArtEZ Bachelor Docent Dans. Josephine is een enthousiaste, open en motiverende docent waar het plezier voor dansen in de les centraal staat. Na vier jaar de opleiding Bachelor Docent Dans heeft zij zich allround kunnen ontwikkelen in verschillende dansstijlen, maar voelt zij zich het meeste thuis in de stijlen klassiek ballet, modern en jazz. Als dans docent heeft Josephine zich verdiept in verschillende doelgroepen van peuters tot aan volwassenen en kinderen binnen het cluster 1 onderwijs. Dit zie je ook terug in haar afstudeeronderzoek waar zij zich verdiept in het geven van dansles aan kinderen die blind of slechtziend zijn. Voor Josephine is er geen uitdaging te veel en onderzoekt zij graag de mogelijkheden om dans bij iedereen te krijgen. Na het afstuderen gaat Josephine verder studeren tot leerkracht basisonderwijs. Ook hier wil zij dans meer binnen het curriculum brengen en de taal- rekenlessen leuker maken door middel van dans. Josephine ziet zichzelf later dansend door zowel het binnen schoolse als buitenschoolse werkveld gaan.

Josephine Seegers started her dance adventure as a little girl. Since then, she has never stopped dancing and is almost graduating from the ArtEZ Bachelor of Dance in Education course. Josephine is an enthusiastic, open and motivating teacher who focuses on the joy of dancing in class. After four years of training, she has been able to develop all-round in various dance styles, but she feels most comfortable in the styles of classical ballet, modern and jazz. As a dance teacher, Josephine has studied various target groups from toddlers to adult and children within cluster 1 education. This is also reflected in her graduation research, where she focuses on teaching dance to children who are blind or visually impaired. No challenge is too much for Josephine and she likes to explore the possibilities of getting dance to everyone. After graduation, Josephine will continue her studies to become a primary school teacher. Here too, she wants to bring dance more into the curriculum and make the theory lessons more fun by means of dance. Later, Josephine sees herself dancing through both in-school and the extra-curricular field of work.
