This preparatory programme at AKI ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design gives you a clear understanding of what it is like to study at an art academy. You will discover the kinds of classes you can expect, what you will learn and what is expected of you. We also introduce you to the professional practice of designers and artists.

Programme

Over the course of 16 Saturdays, you will immerse yourself in the world of art & design. Each session focuses on a different technique and theme, helping you discover and further develop your individual talent. Your lecturer will guide you through a varied programme of practical assignments and provide active support throughout the development of your individual project.

You will also strengthen essential skills such as motivation, communication, reflection and professional attitude, all key to building a successful future in the creative field.

You will complete the preparatory programme with a final exhibition, where family and friends are warmly invited to celebrate your work.
