Location & Facilities

The home base of this minor is the LAB in Zwolle. A place to meet, exchange ideas and have conversations. Larger spaces are also available here, perfect if you want to work on bigger projects. The kitchen is where people come together to share meals, drink coffee and catch up. We also regularly host alumni gatherings, such as our winter and summer dinners.

You’ll take the Mapping Research minor at the ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Zwolle, a vibrant student city full of subcultures and creative initiatives, from hip-hop to comic festivals.

Your classes take place in the historic Sophia Hospital building. Here, you’ll have access to well-equipped studios and workshops, including a photography studio, a film studio with green screen, and a stop-motion animation room with workstations and editing suites.
