Financial matters

Calculate your tuition fees

The amount of tuition you pay depends on your situation. In most cases, you will pay the statutory tuition fee. In some situations, you may be required to pay the higher institutional fee. For example, if you will be studying a second master’s degree. Curious about what your tuition fee would be?

Please note that in addition to the tuition fee you will also have to pay the costs of travel to Arnhem and accommodation during the residential periods. There are also additional costs for travel and accommodation abroad, which is a compulsory part of the curriculum. These additional costs amount to around €500 in the first year.

Scholarships and grants

If you do not live in the EU/EEA, you can apply for the ArtEZ scholarship or the NL Scholarship. The deadline in both cases is 1 May, so you must gain admission before this deadline in order to apply for these scholarships. More information can be found on the Scholarships and Grants page. Contact the Student Affairs department if you have any questions concerning scholarships, grants, residence permits, accommodation and other related matters.
If you have any other questions or would like more information, contact us at mpp@artez.nl.

Scholarships, grants and other financial support

There are different ways to get financial support during your studies in the Netherlands. For Dutch and EU/EEA students, this may include student finance from DUO or the lifelong learning credit. If you are an international student from outside the EU/EEA, DUO schemes usually do not apply, but you may qualify for scholarships, grants, or financial arrangements through ArtEZ and other organizations.
