The amount of tuition you will need to pay depends on your situation. In most cases, you will pay the statutory tuition fee. In some situations, you may be required to pay the higher institutional fee, such as if your programme will be your second master’s degree.
If you would like to calculate what your tuition fee will be, you can read more about our tuition fees here.
Please note that in addition to the tuition fee you will also have to pay the costs of travel to Arnhem and accommodation during the residential periods. There are also additional costs for travel and accommodation abroad, which is a compulsory part of the curriculum. These additional costs amount to around €500 in the first year.
There are different ways to get financial support during your studies in the Netherlands. For Dutch and EU/EEA students, this may include student finance from DUO or the lifelong learning credit (please hyperlink the underlined to page: https://www.artez.nl/en/study-at-artez/arrange-your-study/financial-arrangements ).
If you are an international student from outside the EU/EEA, DUO schemes usually do not apply, but you may qualify for the ArtEZ scholarship or the NL scholarship. The deadline in both cases is 1 May, so you must gain admission before this deadline, in order to apply for these scholarships.
