Financial matters

Calculate tuition fees

The amount of tuition fee you will pay depends on your individual situation. In most cases, you will pay the statutory tuition fee. In some cases, you may pay the higher institutional fee. Students from outside the EU/EEA will often pay the institutional tuition fee, as they do not meet the conditions for the statutory rate.

If you would like to find out what your tuition rate will be, you can read more here about tuition fees.

Scholarships, grants and other financial support

There are different ways to get financial support during your studies in the Netherlands. For Dutch and EU/EEA students, this may include student finance from DUO or the lifelong learning credit. If you are an international student from outside the EU/EEA, DUO schemes usually do not apply, but you may qualify for scholarships, grants, or financial arrangements through ArtEZ and other organizations.
