The amount of tuition you will need to pay depends on your situation. In most cases, you’ll pay the statutory tuition fee. In some situations, you will pay the higher institutional fee, such as if your programme will be your second bachelor’s degree.

There are different ways to get financial support during your studies in the Netherlands. For Dutch and EU/EEA students, this may include student finance from DUO or the lifelong learning credit. If you are an international student from outside the EU/EEA, DUO schemes usually do not apply, but you may qualify for scholarships, grants, or financial arrangements through ArtEZ and other organizations.

During the programme, you will work with a variety of materials and techniques, so you should budget for additional costs for tools and materials.
During your first year, you will take part in an excursion to Berlin, followed in your second year by a study trip elsewhere in Europe, such as France, Germany, or Denmark. You will need to contribute towards the cost of these trips yourself.
