Financial Support

There are different ways to get financial support during your studies in the Netherlands. For Dutch and EU/EEA students, this may include student finance from DUO or the lifelong learning credit. If you are an international student from outside the EU/EEA, DUO schemes usually do not apply, but you may qualify for scholarships, grants, or financial arrangements through ArtEZ and other organizations.

Financial Arrangements

Material costs and excursions

During the programme you will work with various techniques and digital tools, so you should budget for additional costs for paper, ink, books, software and printing, for example.

In the first year you will go on an excursion to Berlin with students from other visual arts programmes. In the second and third years you will not have classes for a month. You will use that time to organise your own study trip with fellow students. You will decide where to go, what to research and how to record it. You will be required to contribute to the cost of these trips.
