Running periods

Two to five weeks a year, we will pause the regular curriculum to focus entirely on creating designs in the workshop.  

International projects

Within the ongoing and intensive curriculum, there is occasional room for national or international collaborations. These may involve external professionals, companies from the field or presentations abroad.  

Collectie Arnhem

In the third year, you will design a collection together with your classmates. Education and practice come together in this project. You will go through all parts of the design process: from creating and developing to styling, funding and presenting. There is room for collaborations with design companies, weaving studios and fellow students. The project ends with a self-organised presentation, in the Netherlands or abroad. Previous editions have been presented during fashion weeks in Paris and Amsterdam.

Fashion competitions

During your studies, you are encouraged to take part in leading fashion competitions, both in the Netherlands and abroad. This will give you the chance to see how your work compares with that of other young designers. You will practise expressing your vision and reach an international audience. Bachelor’s students from Arnhem regularly win prestigious prizes.
