Tuition

As a student, you pay tuition fees every year. Whether you pay the statutory or institutional tuition fees depends on a number of factors, such as your nationality and the higher education diplomas you have already obtained. Here you will find more information about the statutory and institutional tuition fees.

Is this the first higher education course you enrol in? And will you start studying Graphic Design part-time in Zwolle on 1 February 2025? Then you are probably entitled to halve your tuition fees. Read more about this scheme here.

This course starts in February, which means you will be registered for the first 7 months in the academic year 2024-2025. As of 1 September 2025, you are registered for the academic year 2025-2026 and the tuition for that academic year applies. Below you can read what the amounts are for each academic year:

2024/2025        € 2,530 

Institutional tuition fee for Bachelor and AD courses
2023/2024        € 10,200
2024/2025        € 11,200 for students starting the course at ArtEZ in the 2024-2025 academic year. Here you can find more information about the institutional tuition fee.

The costs for books and other educational resources are not included in the tuition fee. You have to pay extra for this.

The statutory and institutional tuition fee for 2025/2026 will be announced in the summer.

Funding options

There are several options for funding the four-year part-time course: 

• You are still entitled to tuition credit

• You can apply to a grant scheme or Lifelong learning credit

• You pay for the course yourself

• Your employer contributes towards the costs
