Music Theatre

Throughout June and July, there are try-outs or premieres by final-year Music Theatre students almost every day. These take place at venues including Theater aan de Rijn, Melkfabriek Nijmegen, Stadsblokkenwerf Arnhem and the Concert Hall of ArtEZ Conservatory Arnhem. A music theatre festival lasting almost three weeks!

‘I am delighted when students shake up my world view,’ says Sjaron Minailo, head of the Bachelor's programme in Music Theatre. And there is no doubt that the students make us look at the world differently.

The Music Theatre graduates have worked hard on their development over the past four or five years. They have conducted research, created theatre and found their own style as creators. They have pushed boundaries, explored new ideas and developed their own way of working. To conclude their studies, they are all creating their own performances. They are assisted in this by experienced theatre makers. Each student showcases their artistic vision in their performance.
