'It's about a healing process through music, and it's a place where - I would say - no mistakes exist,' says Britta about her work as a music therapist. As part of her Master in Music Therapy at ArtEZ Academy of Music in Enschede, she researched how music therapy can support attention regulation in people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
'For me making music was a form of getting attention. It was kind of a second language. Because I was quite a shy child and teenager.'
