Our canteen is the heart of the academy. Whether you’re coming for a strong coffee and a bite to eat after a performance-packed weekend or working on your next music lesson or therapy session, this relaxed, open-minded space is the perfect spot to meet up and find inspiration. Looking for a guitarist for your band or a producer for that project you’ve been working on? You’ll find them right here.

The city is your stage
Beyond the Academy of Music walls, the city buzzes. In Enschede you step right into the jam culture: from MonkeyJam and the Jazz Jam at De Tor to sessions at Tankstation. You perform at Try Out Nights, After Glow and the ArtEZ Finals, dive into the Booster Festival, and join projects with Phion, the Introconcert and Museum Night. You can also explore new ideas in auditory lab Vestzak and develop productions at Grensfrequentie, Enschede's musical workshop. In short: inside and outside school, you make a lot of music, build your network and grow your stage experience week by week.
