Check the admission requirements

To be admitted to the School of Acting, you must first give an audition. This allows us to get to know you better as a performer. Because the audition programme is similar to the lessons you would receive at the Theatre School of Acting, the audition is an ideal opportunity for you to discover whether this programme is the right choice for you.

If you would like to take this programme, you must first apply for admission. The process is as follows:

Application → Admission → Offer of admission→ Enrolment → Programme start

At the enrolment stage, you must meet all admission requirements:

You hold a Dutch HAVO, VWO or MBO 4 diploma, or an equivalent international diploma.
You meet the language requirements. This programme can be followed in Dutch or in English. You have the option to choose the language of instruction yourself.
- If you choose Dutch: you must have Dutch language skills at the B2 level. Read more about how to meet the Dutch language requirement.
- If you choose English: you must have sufficient English language skills to follow the classes. Read more about how to meet the English language requirement.
You have received an offer of admission (positive admission result on your entrance examination).
